Make a hand-sewn book while learning the basics of simple bookbinding. With paper, needle and thread, participants will make several hand-sewn books to use as journals and learn how to use and make simple bookbinding tools.
Taught by Nancy Leavitt who makes one-of-a-kind hand painted, lettered, and bound books. Her work is found in libraries and private collections throughout North America and Europe. She lives in Stillwater, Maine.
