The Humor of George Mitchell ~ Maine author Douglas Rooks will read from his new biography, "Statesman: George Mitchell and the Art of the Possible" - Thursday, July 28 at 6:00

Maine Discovery Museum Family Pass is available to borrow. Call to reserve.

Free lunch at the library The school will be providing free lunches at the library Monday-Friday, July 5 - August 5 from 12:30 - 1:30. The lunch is available to anyone age 18 and younger. We are looking for a volunteer to help serve the lunches on Monday and Friday.

Story Time for preschoolers is held Mondays at 10:15.

Get in the Game - Read! during the summer reading program at the Pittsfield Public Library. There will be a story time every Monday at 10:15 for preschool children and special events for older children. The Portland Sea Dogs have provided free tickets for children. A free family pass to the Maine Discovery Museum can be borrowed, courtesy of the Friends of the Pittsfield Public Library. Come to the library to pick up a full schedule of events and check the library's Facebook page for updates.

Conjuring Carroll Thursday, August 4 at 1:00 - Maine's fun magician and family entertainer will provide happiness with silly magic and more.

Fiber Fun The Knifty Knitters meets every Monday from 2:00-4:00 in the Warren Community Room. All are welcome to create stitched items, learn how to knit and crochet, and share in the discussion and laughter.
