Robert Klose: A Tale of Two Adoptions

UMaine faculty member Robert Klose joins us on Thursday, May 7th at 6PM in the Warren Community Room to share the challenges, highs and lows of adopting two sons as a single father. Even though single women routinely adopt children, adoption by a single father is uncommon and was met with significant resistance. It took over three years to adopt his first son, Aloysha, from Russia, and adopting a second son, Anton, from the Ukraine was equally fraught.
